“Dancing With the Stars” returns to ABC on Monday, September 16. We have all the key details that you need to know about season 28, including the pairings of the celebrities and pro dancers, and how to vote for your favorites to win the “DWTS” mirrorball trophy.
This season runs for 11 weeks. Emmy-winner Tom Bergeron is hosting as always and Erin Andrews will once again do backstage interviews with the couples in contention. All three judges return to the panel: Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. This season they’ll have even more power with the introduction of the judges save. Each week they will pick one pair from the bottom two to keep in the competition.
The system of voting by viewers has changed dramatically. It starts in week two and will be timed to those watching “Dancing With the Stars” in the Eastern and Central time zones. Only those watching the show as it airs live there will get to weigh in with their votes at abc.com or via text. Don’t despair if you live in the Mountain and Pacific time zones: follow along with our live blog and cast votes for your favorite couples that way.
