Here are the routines for ‘Dancing with the Stars” Dance-Off Week — and one couple is already safe from it

Week 8 on “Dancing with the Stars” will have double the dances — but not for all the couples.

The remaining seven duos will perform their usual individual routines and then participate in a head-to-head dance-off in the styles of either the cha-cha, jive or salsa for two extra points. Since seven is an odd number, one couple will be immune from the dance-off but still get the two extra points. Per ABC, the dance-off immunity will be “based on the leaderboard from the previous week.” Well, three couples topped the night with a 54: Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko, Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber, and James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater.

“Dancing” later announced on its Instagram page that the lucky couple is Team Van Der Slate, who got the edge because they have the highest cumulative score of the season. Note: The immunity is for the dance-off only and not from elimination.

It is kind of weird they’ll grant immunity based on the previous week’s scores and not the scores of that evening, which is what they’ve usually done. Also, three of the couples are assigned one of the dance-off styles, so not really great planning here.

Here are the individual routines:

Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko: jive
Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber: jazz Charleston
Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten: quickstep
Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov: jive
Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson: salsa
Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold: jazz
James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater: contemporary

Yes, that does say “jazz Charleston.” Is it a typo? A hybrid? Who the hell knows. But the Charleston hasn’t been featured this season yet.

Songs featured include Elle King’s “American Girl,” Linda Ronstadt’s “Heat Wave,” Styx’s “Come Sail Away,” John Legend’s “All of Me” and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” The dance-off songs will be Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine’s “Rhythm is Going to Get You,” C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” and Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.”
