Witney Carson is one step closer to joining the Multiple Wins Club on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Witney Carson is the last female pro standing on “Dancing with the Stars” — and she’s the only pro left who’s won the show. If she and Kel Mitchell take home the Mirrorball on Monday’s season finale, she’d join a small list of pros with multiple wins.

Sixteen pros have won “Dancing” so far, with seven of them triumphing more than once. Derek Hough is the king of “Dancing,” having scored a record six victories during his 17 seasons — a tally that probably no one will touch, at least for a very, very long time. No other pro has won more than twice.

Cheryl BurkeJulianne HoughMark BallasKym JohnsonPeta Murgatroyd and Val Chmerkovskiy are all two-time champs. Burke, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy were all seeking a third trophy this season, but they were all gone by Week 6. In fact, they all left one after another. Burke and Ray Lewis withdrew in Week 3 due to a reaggravated injury in his foot; Murgatroyd and Lamar Odom were eliminated in Week 4; and after an elimination-free Disney Week, Chmerkovskiy and Sailor Brinkley-Cook were the first surprising exit of the season in Week 6.

SEE Alfonso Ribeiro reveals who he’s rooting for on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (besides Witney Carson)

Carson won Season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro, who’s cheering for “my girl” to win again. Since then, she’s notched a third-place finish with Frankie Muniz on Season 25 and was runner-up with Milo Manheim last season. With Mitchell, Carson has helped him steadily improve throughout the season, and they’ve earned two perfect scores.

What could give Carson an edge in the final is her experience; this is her 11th season and fourth final. Meanwhile, Alan Bersten is in his fourth season and second final, while both Sasha Farber and Gleb Savchenko are in their seventh seasons and second finals.

Currently, our odds have Hannah Brown and Bersten prevailing, followed by Ally Brooke and Farber, Mitchell and Carson, and Lauren Alaina and Savchenko.
