Deadly Games on the ‘most scary routine’ that got them the Golden Buzzer on ‘America’s Got Talent’

Daredevil act Deadly Games still can’t believe they got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum on the January 14 episode of this spin-off of “AGT.”  As they readily revealed in their post-show interview, “there are so many talented acts from all over the world and we were so scared.” The husband and wife team, Alfredo and Anna Silva, did a death-defying act that had the whole audience holding their breath. Alfredo admits, “it was the most scary routine we’ve ever performed.”

Getting the Golden Buzzer sends them straight through to the final. In their eyes, that makes them winners already. They had only reached the semi-finals in the 2016 edition of “America’s Got Talent” before being eliminated. They had been the judges’ choice to advance after the quarter-finals but fell at the final hurdle.

Their competition for the first world champion title includes the 2016 winner of “Spain’s Got Talent”, rock opera singer Cristina Ramos, who won the superfans vote on the Jan. 14 episode; the 2009 runner-up on “Britain’s Got Talent,” Susan Boyle, who earned the Golden Buzzer from Mel B on the premiere; and stand-up comic Preacher Lawson, who won the superfan vote in episode 1 on Jan. 7.

Anna, who was a Russian ballerina, began working with Alfredo, a circus performer, on his daredevil act in 2009. They married in 2014 and have toured the world with their death-defying stunts. They even competed on the French version of “AGT” in 2017 where they made it to the semi-finals yet again.

Will they go all the way this time around?
