All week long Gold Derby readers have been making their predictions for which of the final five contestants will be eliminated in Wednesday’s eighth episode of “The Masked Singer,” and things are not looking good for Rabbit and Monster. As a reminder, since this is the semi-finals that means two costumed characters will be saying goodbye this week. Our readers predict that Rabbit will be eliminated in fifth place (15/8 odds) while Monster is their pick to go home in fourth place (5/4 odds). Do YOU agree or disagree with their predictions? There’s still time to make (or update) your picks.

In Wednesday’s episode, titled “Semi Finals: Double Unmasking,” regular judges Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke will be joined by guest panelist Kenan Thompson (“Saturday Night Live”). The judges and studio audience will watch all of the finalists perform and then will cast their votes for their favorite performers. The two celebs who receive the lowest number of votes will have to unmask in front of America.
If our readers’ predictions come true that Rabbit and Monster will both be eliminated, that would leave only Lion, Bee and Peacock to fight it out in next week’s two-hour season finale of “The Masked Singer.” Down in the comments section, be sure to tell us your best guesses for who’s hiding behind the Rabbit and Monster costumes.
