
Gold Derby can exclusively reveal all six episodes being submitted to Emmy Awards voters by the nominees for Best Competition Program (formally known as Best Reality-Competition Program). Each of the following series must enter one episode from this past season for voters to view. The category winner will be presented on the Primetime Emmys ceremony slated for Fox on September 22.
“The Amazing Race” is submitting “Who Wants a Rolex?” which aired on May 22 for CBS. The show has won this category 10 times.
“American Ninja Warrior” is submitting “Seattle/Tacoma City Qualifiers” which aired on June 24 for NBC. It’s the fourth straight nomination without a win.
“Nailed It!” is submitting “3, 2, 1… Ya Not Done” which streamed on June 29 for Netflix. It’s the first nomination for this show.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is submitting “Whatcha Unpackin’?” which aired on February 28 for VH1. This show is the reigning champ in this category.
“Top Chef” is submitting “The Greatest” which aired on February 14 for Bravo. The show has won this category one time.
“The Voice” is submitting “Blind Auditions Premiere Night 1” which aired on February 25 for NBC. The show has won this category four times.
