Emmys 2019 winners: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users

Congratulations to our User Sagand for an excellent score of 81.48% when predicting the 2019 Emmy Awards winners on Sunday. He is just ahead of nine others with a 77.78% score. Sagand has a great point score total of 49,968 by using the 500 super bets wisely.

Almost 3,800 people worldwide predicted these Emmys champs in 27 categories for the ceremony in downtown Los Angeles. You can see a full list of winners for these comedy, drama, reality, variety and movie/limited categories. Our top scorer got 22 out of 27 categories correct, including tough ones like “Fleabag” (Comedy Series), Phoebe Waller-Bridge for “Fleabag” (Comedy Actress), Billy Porter for “Pose” (Drama Actor) and Julia Garner for “Ozark” (Drama Supporting Actress).

You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.

For our 11 Editors predicting, Riley Chow is in first place with 74.07%, having only missed seven of the 27 categories. Second place is a three -way tie at 66.67% for Joyce Eng, Rob Licuria and myself. Up next at 62.96% are Zach Laws, Daniel Montgomery, Tom O’Neil and Paul Sheehan.
