‘Hell’s Kitchen’ Season 18: A piping hot reveal of what’s ahead for final 4 chefs before next week’s finale [WATCH EXCLUSIVE CLIP]

The heat is definitely on full blast during the penultimate episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” Season 18 as veteran chefs Ariel Contreras-Fox and Bret Hauser seek a second chance to win while rookies Mia Castro and Motto try to secure a spot on the two-hour finale on February 8. Watch an exclusive video clip above of Friday’s episode.

To whet your appetite for what’s ahead, check out this clip where Mia — who was tagged for elimination last week along with vet Heather Williams, who got the boot — steps up and takes charge of the kitchen. The cliffhanger of this clip from episode 14, cutely titled “What’s Your Motto,” revolves around a less than satisfying risotto. Instead of spoiling it, it’s best to experience the conclusion yourself and hear what Gordon Ramsay has to say about it.

What is at stake? The position of executive chef at Ramsay’s new Las Vegas restaurant at Caesars Palace and a bonus of $250,000. What questions do we have? How many chefs will be allowed to compete in the finale and who will be shut out this week?

What do you need to know? That the first part of the big showdown, which begins an hour earlier than usual at 8 p.m. ET/PT on February 8, is called “A Rollercoaster Ride” while the second part is simply called “The Grand Finale.”

Feel free to discuss below in the comments section how you felt about Season 18 and the early restructuring of what was supposed to be “Rookies vs. Veterans.” Which eliminated chef was most deserving to be cut and who should have gone on to the final four — Kanae Houston, anyone? And, of course, who are you most rooting for this week?
