Julianne Hough declares ‘America’s Got Talent’ comedian Ryan Niemiller is ‘born to be on the stage’ [WATCH]

Stand-up comedian Ryan Niemiller returned to “America’s Got Talent” this week for his first live performance from the Dolby Theatre, and he didn’t take the opportunity for granted. After a string of bad performances during Tuesday’s Quarterfinals 2 episode, Ryan was a breath of fresh air as he made jokes about his disability and growing up in a trailer. In fact, Julianne Hough even raved that Ryan was “born to be on the stage.” Will America vote the act through to the Season 14 Semifinals? Watch the “AGT” performance video above, read the judges’ comments below and then make your predictions before Wednesday’s results episode.

Howie Mandel: “I love you. I don’t think people appreciate what it takes to be a stand-up comic and elicit laughter like you do. Not only everybody in this room, I promise you everybody at home was laughing. You are wonderful, you’re memorable, you’re funny, you’re smart. You need to need in the finals. Vote, America! Please vote.”

Julianne Hough: “I didn’t know how you could top your last two performances. You were born to be on the stage. That was the best. That was better than both of your performances combined. This is your lane. Wow.”

Simon Cowell: “From the minute it started it was like, you’re born to do this. The second you came on. Even the music. Everything worked. Your flow, your confidence. It was just one of those great, great performances and I really believe you’re gonna be in the Semifinals after that. You deserve it.”

In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper John Benutty had this to say about the live performance: “After yet another rough performance, comedian Ryan Niemiller came out in the hopes of raising the spirit of the night with some laughter. His energy was immediately engaging and hyped–he went through bits about the New Years resolutions no one actually checks up on and jokes about disability, his youth living in a trailer and how dangerous tornadoes can be. He earned the first full panel standing ovation of the night with all four giving him congratulations and words of encouragement for his act tonight.”
