Lauren – Miss Alaina if you’re ‘nasty’ – performs a sexy paso doble in week 2 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ [WATCH]

Lauren Alaina had a great first week on “Dancing with the Stars,” when she landed in the top three on the judges’ leaderboard for her cha cha with pro partner Gleb Savchenko. But in week two the Southern belle came out of her shell and performed a paso doble. Was she just as good when performing in this sexy style? Watch her performance above, and see what the judges had to say about it below.

Carrie Ann Inaba: “How did that feel? It looks like it felt amazing for you. I love seeing you come out of your shell like this. You seem so conservative, but not today, not anymore. You’re also extremely flexible. Your shoulders were a little high throughout. You had one moment when he took off the cape and you were like, ‘God this feels good,’ and I was loving you, and then I think you lost your focus for a second because after that your shoulders kind of came up and you went a little tight again. Once again, same thing: we need that consistency. If you’re going to go there, stay there the whole way.” (SCORE: 6)

Len Goodman: “It had a power about it with plenty of attack and determination. Occasionally it lacked a bit of shaping. I’m not sure if you went a little bit wrong when you were going down here … I would like to have seen more of a twist-turn in there, Gleb … That was a disappointment.” (SCORE: 6)

Bruno Tonioli: “Well, well, well Lauren, what your mama would think about this? Oh, she’s all gone nasty, and I liked it! I loved it, my darling. Nasty is good. Nasty suits you. You’ve definitely come out of your shell, haven’t you, my love? But I have to say it was a very strong and focused performance. Yes, you could have extended the shaping a little bit more, but it was very convincing. Well done!” (SCORE: 7)

How does one react when someone tells you they like you nasty on national television? Shy Alaina said, “I never really expected a man to rip my skirt off on TV. My dad is in Alabama very surprised right now. I love you, dad.” But her total score (19 out of 30) was on par with the marks she received during the season premiere, and that was enough to send her safely through the next round, so she had to be happy about that. What did you think of her routine?
