Last week when there were still 12 suitors in the competition to win Hannah Brown‘s heart, 7% of fans wanted Luke Parker to win “The Bachelorette.” But now that the numbers are dwindling (at current count only nine guys remain), Luke P. has jumped up slightly to 8% support from viewers. Is this season’s apparent villain gaining more fans the longer he sticks around, or are voters trying to sabotage Hannah’s search for love? Give us your theories down in the comments section.
In case you missed this week’s episode, Hannah nearly quit ABC’s reality TV show because of all the recent drama with Luke P., explaining to host Chris Harrison, “I have really lost a lot of hope, but I’m still holding on to knowing that there’s gotta be good that comes out of this.” She then added, “I don’t give up … I’m gonna see this thing through to the end.”
Luke, a 24-year-old import/export manager from Gainesville, Georgia, got into a huge fight with Garrett Powell, a 27-year-old golf pro from Homewood, Alabama, just before the rose ceremony. Garrett continued hounding Luke about why he kept talking about other guys during his one-on-one dates with Hannah, with Luke arguing back that he was only answering Hannah’s questions. Hannah then came into the room and broke down crying, telling them all that she was “frustrated” they were putting her in this position.
When the drama-filled rose ceremony finally took place, Luke and Garrett both received roses, with the others being Connor Saeli, Dustin Kendrick, Dylan Barbour, Jed Wyatt, Mike Johnson, Peter Weber and Tyler Cameron. The next stage of Hannah’s search for love will be in Latvia, where she hopes to finally find happiness — unlike those recent eye-rolling trips to Rhode Island and Scotland.
