“Avengers: Endgame,” which opens on April 26, is the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that kicked off with the 2008 release “Iron Man.” In this newest entry in the MCU, the surviving members of the Avengers and their allies unite to reverse the damage wreaked by Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War.” It has been well-received by the critics. Indeed, the consensus at Rotten Tomatoes reads: “Exciting, entertaining, and emotionally impactful, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ does whatever it takes to deliver a satisfying finale to Marvel’s epic Infinity Saga.”
