Milo Ventimiglia (‘This Is Us’) 2019 Emmy Awards episode revealed for Best Drama Actor (Exclusive)

Gold Derby can exclusively reveal that Milo Ventimiglia is entering the “This Is Us” episode “Sometimes” as his 2019 Emmy Awards submission for Best Drama Actor. This installment aired November 13 and was the seventh episode of the third season for the NBC show.

In this installment, Jack (Ventimiglia) wants his brother assigned to his Vietnam War unit but the major protests. Many years later, he drives Rebecca (Mandy Moore) to her singing audition and cries while watching her perform. He still doesn’t want to tell her about his war memory nightmares.

It’s the third consecutive nomination at the Emmys for Ventimiglia, although he has yet to win. For this year’s contest, he is competing against the 2017 champ and co-star Sterling K. Brown, returning nominee Jason Bateman (“Ozark”), past writing winner Bob Odenkirk (“Better Call Saul”), previous nominee Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”) and first-time contender Billy Porter (“Pose”).
