Congratulations to our User madadude for an excellent score of 71.43% when predicting the 2019 National Society of Film Critics winners on Saturday. He is actually tied with five other people — Hoster1, francessder, manakamana, estreslasdealgeruz and roger88 — but has the better point score total of 53,395 by using the 500 super bets wisely.
Over 1,100 people worldwide predicted these film winners for the seven NSOFC categories. Our top scorer had five of those correct — Alfonso Cuaron (Best Director), Ethan Hawke (Best Actor), Olivia Colman (Best Actress), Steven Yeun (Best Supporting Actor) and Regina King (Best Supporting Actress). He did not have Best Picture winner “The Rider” in his top three picks or Best Screenplay champ “The Death of Stalin” in his top three predictions.

For the eight Editors predicting, we have a five-way tie in first place with 57.14% for Marcus Dixon, Joyce Eng, Daniel Montgomery, Paul Sheehan and myself. For eight Experts picking, the top spot is a three-way tie at 57.14% for Edward Douglas (Weekend Warrior), Eng and Peter Travers (Rolling Stone). Next up is Tariq Khan (Fox TV) and Susan King (Gold Derby) with 42.86%. Jack Mathews (Gold Derby) and O’Neil are tied with 28.57%.
