In the thirteenth and final installment this year of our ongoing video series, senior editor Rob Licuria and “Outlander” fan Paula Licuria dish the highs and lows of each episode week to week of this chapter of the fantasy romance saga based on “Drums of Autumn,” Diana Gabaldon’s fourth novel in the series of books (watch above). We’ve also hosted recap and analysis videos for the first episode, second episode, third episode, fourth episode, fifth episode, sixth episode, seventh episode, eighth episode, ninth episode, tenth episode, eleventh episode and twelfth episode.
In “Man of Worth,” the finale of season four of the Starz hit drama “Outlander,” Jamie (Sam Heughan), Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Young Ian’s (John Bell) attempt to rescue Roger (Richard Rankin) from his Mohawk captors goes awry when a ghost from Claire’s past lays waste to their plan. Meanwhile, Brianna (Sophie Skelton) worries Claire, Jamie and Roger might not return and contemplates life as a single parent without them. The episode was written by Toni Graphia and directed by Stephen Woolfenden.
“It was a beautifully done, fitting season finale for a very well done and much improved season four of the show,” Rob declares. “I laughed, I cried,” Paula proclaims. “I was slightly disappointed, but I loved it. I’m so sad that this is the season finale,” she adds. “Yeah,” Rob agrees. “Because that means we have to wait another 3,000 years for the show to come back,” he jokes.
