Pasha Pashkov goes from ‘World of Dance’ to ‘Dancing with the Stars’: Rate the show’s newest pro [POLL]

Dancing with the Stars” made headlines for the pros it unceremoniously let go this season, but what about the new pro it added to the lineup for season 28? Audiences got to meet Pasha Pashkov in the season premiere when he met his celeb dance partner, actress Kate Flannery (“The Office”). What do you think of the new addition to the cast? Watch his routine with Flannery above.

While Pashkov is new to “DWTS,” he’s not new to TV dance competitions. In 2018 he actually competed in season two of NBC’s “World of Dance” (whose judging panel happens to include “DWTS” breakout pro Derek Hough). He competed in the Upper Division with Daniella Karagach. The two of them advanced out of the Qualifiers round, but they were eliminated in the Duels when they went head-to-head against krumpers BDash and Konkrete.

Now Pashkov has another chance for dance glory, though his first performance with Flannery suggests they might be underdogs. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba admired how “clear and sure-footed” Flannery was. Len Goodman loved her attitude, but thought she needed more hip action. Bruno Tonioli advised her to finish her movements. They all appreciated her high spirit, but she got fives across the board from the panel, giving her a total of 15 out of 30 and tying her for ninth place on the judges’ leaderboard.

So Pashkov and Flannery will need America’s support when audiences have their say, casting their votes live during the show starting in week two. What do you think of Pashkov and his new partnership?
