Rabbit revealed on ‘The Masked Singer’: NSYNC’s Joey Fatone asks ‘What the f*** am I doing?’ after being unmasked [WATCH]

Most fans of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” guessed that the celebrity hiding inside the Rabbit costume was a boy band member, but which one? Well, all of our questions were answered during Wednesday’s semi-finals episode after Rabbit was eliminated in fourth place (watch above). When Rabbit reached up and removed his elaborate mask, he was revealed to be none other than … NSYNC‘s Joey Fatone! “What the f*** am I doing?” Joey asked as the audience applauded. Did YOU guess Rabbit’s true identity? Let us know down in the comments section.

Just minutes before, Lion was unmasked to reveal actress/singer Rumer Willis, but none of the judges — Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and guest panelist Kenan Thompson — managed to guess correctly. That wasn’t the case with Rabbit, as both Robin and Nicole went with Joey as their final pick.

As for the other judges, Kenan chose Nick Lachey because of Rabbit’s muscular build, Ken opted for Backstreet Boys member Kevin Richardson and Jenny, unbelievably, picked her husband Donnie Wahlberg. Let me repeat that: Jenny’s final guess as an official judge on “The Masked Singer” was that the person who’d performed in front of her five different times while wearing a skin-tight Rabbit costume was actually her husband. You can’t make this stuff up.

“This is some crazy ass s***,” Joey declared as the judges gave him a standing ovation. Nicole told him that she was “so impressed” with the character he created of the twitching, mentally unstable Rabbit. Some of Rabbit’s clues along the way included references to magic, which Joey explained by saying he grew up wanting to be a magician. And all of those cooking clues were because of Joey’s hot dog restaurant, Fat Ones.

With the eliminations of Rabbit and Lion, only three costumed characters still remain in the competition: Bee, Monster and Peacock. Find out who wins the golden mask when the two-hour season finale airs next Wednesday, February 27 on Fox.
