SAG Awards 2020: Chris Harnick, Christopher Rosen and Peter Travers top all Experts predicting TV nominees

Congratulations to our Experts Chris Harnick (E!), Christopher Rosen (Decider) and Peter Travers (Rolling Stone) for a great score of 70.00% when predicting the 2020 SAG Awards TV nominations on Wednesday. They are best among 14 Experts, journalists who cover the entertainment industry throughout the year. See Experts’ scores.

Over 1,700 people worldwide predicted these Screen Actors Guild nominees in eight television categories for the announcement held in Los Angeles. Winners will be announced January 26 at a TBS/TNT ceremony. Our top scorers got 28 out of 40 nominees correct, which was especially good on a day with such surprises as “Stranger Things” (TV drama ensemble) and “The Kominsky Method” (TV comedy ensemble).

For the other 11 Experts predicting, we have a four-way tie at 67.50% for Debbie Day (Rotten Tomatoes), Tom O’Neil (Gold Derby), Robert Rorke (New York Post) and Kaitlin Thomas (TV Guide). Up next at 65.00% are Joyce Eng (Gold Derby), Wilson Morales (BlackFilm) and Jazz Tangcay (Variety). Eric Deggans (NPR) follows at 62.50%. We then have Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) and Susan Wloszczyna (Gold Derby) at 60.00% and then Ben Travers (Indiewire) at 57.50%.
