Seal ‘sad’ he didn’t make it to ‘The Masked Singer’ finale as Leopard: ‘All good things come to an end’ [WATCH]

“All truth be told, I’m feeling a little sad going home tonight,” admitted a forlorn Seal after being masked as Leopard during Wednesday’s semi-finals episode of “The Masked Singer.” As the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter said in his post-show exit interview (watch above), “I had hoped to make it to the finale, but all good things come to an end.” Did YOU correctly guess Leopard’s true identity? Let us know down in the comments section.

Seal added he had a “wonderful time” on Fox’s wild and wacky reality TV show, despite constantly appearing in the bottom two. He decided to do the series because of his four kids at home, who are “fans of the show.” However, once he got in costume, “Performing with the head gear on was a whole different story. It’s certainly not something that I’ve ever experienced before.”

The British musician revealed, “I couldn’t really break character because, number one, I’d look ridiculous being Seal and being serious in this outfit, and number two, it was just such a kind of rare opportunity to have fun with it and to be something completely different and outside the realms of what I do on a day to day basis.”

“Being anonymous was an added bonus,” Seal smiled. It gave him “even more license to be ridiculous and to be in character,” since his very identity was “concealed.” He recalled that back in the first episode the panelists weren’t sure if he was a man or a woman, thanks to his trying to hide the sound of his voice.

Some of the judges’ guesses throughout the season included RuPaul, Billy Porter, Eric Benet and Jeff Goldblum. In the end, only Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger correctly named Seal. With Leopard and Thingamajig now out of the competition, next week’s Season 2 finale will be a three-person race between Flamingo, Fox and Rottweiler. Who do YOU think will win the Golden Mask?
