Simon Cowell doesn’t think ‘America’s Got Talent’ beatboxers Berywam will go viral: What do YOU think? [WATCH]

America’s Got Talent” beatboxers Berywam returned during the first Judge Cuts episode to perform in front of Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Gabrielle Union, Howie Mandel and guest judge Brad Paisley. Unfortunately, Simon didn’t agree with the near-unanimous praise of his cohorts, arguing that the French group’s “in the club” performance likely won’t end up becoming a viral video. What do YOU say, “AGT” fans? Watch the performance video above (in fact, watch it 100 times to prove Simon wrong!) and read some of the judges’ comments below.

Howie: “I just want to point out to people at home who are watching this, this is not a track. Every sound you hear is coming out of their mouths. I don’t know that this performance was better than your last performance, so I wish you the best of luck.”

Brad: “This is something a lot of us had never seen before. But nobody had ever seen a guy play a guitar with his teeth before Hendrix, too. It’s always hard when you’re the first one through a door. You’re kind of the one bustin’ it down, and you’re bustin’ it down. It’s really great, so keep up what you’re doing.”

Simon: “For me the audition lacked an incredible opening [and] an incredible middle, but you did have a great end. You know, in this day and age you can go viral within seconds on a show like this. I’m not sure that that audition is gonna go viral in the way that it could have done, in my opinion.”

Gabrielle: “I definitely disagree. You absolutely have a chance to go to the live shows and you will have people fighting on your behalf.”

As Gabrielle promised, Berywam was among the list of seven acts who made it through to the live shows at the Dolby Theatre. The other talented performers were Sophie Pecora, Emerald Belles, Messoudi Brothers, Lukas & Falco, Ndiovu Youth Choir and Chris Klafford.

In his “AGT” live blog, our recapper Denton Davidson had this to say about the performance: “Next up is Berywam, a beatboxing group from France. This handsome quartet plans to bring everyone in the audience ‘to the club’ with them using nothing but their own voices. I’m fascinated by the noises they’re able to create, but I don’t know if I can imagine an entire concert of this. They need more of a stage production, but they’ve got charisma that’s for sure. All of the judges except Simon are on their feet. Simon thought it lacked the ability to go ‘viral,’ but Gabrielle will fight on their behalf.”
