‘Survivor’ episode 3 preview trailer spoiler: Karishma Patel feels ‘light-headed’ after cutting hand to the bone [WATCH]

This week’s “Survivor” episode is not for the squeamish. In CBS’s spoiler-filled preview trailer (watch above), Karishma Patel accidentally cuts her hand to the bone while prepping a coconut. “Oh my God,” she exhales. “I can see my bone. Guys, I’m getting really light-headed.” Surprisingly, not a single one of Karishma’s fellow Lairo tribe members comes to her aid as she writhes around on the ground in pain. Instead, they’re seen casually chatting amongst themselves by the fire.

“I’m 15 feet away. Nobody came to me,” Karishma laters declares while holding back tears. “Each and every person on this tribe is dead to me.” Ironically, this 37-year-old Philadelphia native is no stranger to accidents as she works as a personal injury lawyer in Pennsylvania.

Following Ronnie Bardah‘s elimination in the first episode, Karishma seemed to be in the majority girls alliance along with Elizabeth Beisel, Missy Byrd, Elaine Stott and Chelsea Walker. (The four guys — Dean Kowalski, Tom Laidlaw, Aaron Meredith and Vince Moua — are outnumbered.) But does her “dead to me” comment suggest she’s gonna try going her own way now?

Elsewhere in the promo video, Sandra Diaz-Twine and Rob Mariano meet a third castaway at the Island of the Idols and give them an unorthodox test: “Tonight, you must sneak into the other tribe’s camp.” We don’t get to find out which Lairo player it is, but it’s whoever Kellee Kim randomly picked out of a bag during her visit last week.

“This is gonna be great,” Sandra proclaims after the person receives their “Mission: Impossible” assignment. Rob chimes in, “Going into the other tribe’s camp in the middle of the night is more than difficult.” We can’t wait! Find out how it all plays out Wednesday, October 9 on CBS.
