It will be a clean sweep on “The Amazing Race” by “The Amazing Race,” according to our readers. All six legs on Season 31 have been won by former “Race” teams, and 47 percent of fans now believe racers will claim the rest of the legs.
So far, the Afghanimals, Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran, have won the first two legs; Team Fun, Becca Droz and Floyd Pierce, took Legs 3 and 5; Colin Guinn and Christie Woods prevailed on Leg 4, and Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl won Leg 6. You just can’t buy “Race” experience, ya know? They are also the only “Race” teams left, outnumbering the “Big Brother” and “Survivor” duos four to two to one. So we could definitely have an all-“Race” final three.
But 43 percent of readers think a “Big Brother” team can snap that streak. Though the options didn’t specify which one, it’s safe to say most feel Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo can sneak out a win. They have a trio of second-place finishes and one in third. Meanwhile, Rachel Reilly and Elissa Slater are barely hanging on by a thread, but they can quickly turn things around.
Just like how Chris Hammons and Bret LaBelle did. Since struggling the first three legs and getting saved by a non-elimination, the last “Survivor” team standing has come in third, second and fourth. But only 3 percent think they will win a leg. However, 7 percent believe they and a “Big Brother” team will be able to nab at least one leg each.
“The Amazing Race” airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
