The Kings are the best ‘World of Dance’ winners ever, say 74% of fans: Watch every single performance here

If you missed The Kings on “World of Dance” this season, then you missed something pretty spectacular. The hip-hop crew from Mumbai, India, overcame financial hardship to compete on the series, but it was worth the trip. They dominated the competition from beginning to end, and now they have dominated our poll: almost three-quarters of fans (74%) say they’re the show’s best winners yet. Watch every single performance from the season three champions above.

The Kings performed five times overall: in the Qualifiers, the Duels, the Cut, the Divisional Final and at last the World Final. Their very first performance earned a gargantuan judges’ average score of 97.7, but that would actually turn out to be their lowest score of the season. Across all five performances they averaged 98.8 from the judges, which included the season finale performance that earned them only the second perfect 100 in the history of the show (Charity and Andres had the first in season two).

These dancers combined Bollywood and Indian folklore references in their hip-hop routines, and the threw in high-flying flips and tricks than no other contestants in the history of the show could match. And it wasn’t just the height and difficulty that was so impressive about their moves, but also their originality and storytelling impact. The only way The Kings would have lost the million-dollar grand prize would have been if they were pitted against Cirque Du Soleil, and even then The Kings might have taken the throne.

Only 14% of our respondents say season one winners Les Twins were the best ever, while 12% voted for The Lab as the best. Do you agree with our results?
