In Wednesday’s sixth episode of Fox’s wildly popular “The Masked Singer,” two celebrities from the first group (Peacock and Monster) were joined by two from the second group (Bee and Raven) for another night of performances. In addition to all four costumed characters entertaining judges Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke with solo performances, they also did a fun group number. In the end, one singer was named the weakest by the judges and in-studio audience and thus became the sixth celebrity to unmask in front of America. Did the right person go home?

WEEK FIVE SPOILERS: Who are the AlienLionRabbit

9:00 p.m. — “Previously, on ‘The Masked Singer’!” In last week’s fifth episode the other foursome performed to stay in the competition: Lion, Unicorn, Alien and Rabbit. After all of the performances the audience members and judges voted to send home Unicorn, who unmasked to reveal actress/author Tori Spelling. “Performing in front of people is my biggest fear in life,” Tori confessed after she took off her mask. The surviving trio of Lion, Alien and Rabbit will soon be joined by the three singers who make it past tonight’s elimination, so let’s get things started!

9:05 p.m. – At this point I feel like I have the four artists performing tonight nailed down. I believe Peacock is Donny Osmond, Raven is Ricki Lake, Bee is Gladys Knight and Monster is T-Pain. Am I right or am I right?! Let’s find out if tonight’s clues prove otherwise. The masked singers are kicking things off with a quartet performance of “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas. Monster appears to have the hearts of the judges and I agree there’s something about him that’s a little adorable.

9:10 p.m. – The first performer to go solo tonight is the Bee. In her introduction reel we learn a few new clues: She reiterates that she’s been performing since the 1950’s, she got the idea to form a musical group for the first time at age 8, and after she got a recording contract her career has been “all peaches and marmalade” ever since. I think Bee said that to steer people off track and guess Patti LaBelle, but that is NOT Patti’s voice. She then made a reference to Chaka Khan, which I also think is a trick.

9:15 p.m. – Bee is up to perform “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus and Robin says it’s definitely Gladys Knight. As always, Bee sounds fantastic, but doesn’t move around the stage a whole lot. There’s no question this woman is a pro and Jenny is on the verge of tears watching the performance. Following the performance, Robin was choked up as well and commends her outstanding vocals. He says he recognizes her stage persona because he’s seen Gladys perform many times. Nicole isn’t sure, but believes she is a seasoned singer. Obviously, she said she’s been singing for almost 70 years. It’s now time for Bee to “show and tell” with a revealing item. The item is a bakeware set, stating it’s her second favorite thing to do. That leads Jenny to mention Patti LaBelle and Ken throws out Anita Baker as a possibility. Nicole says it could potentially be Chaka Khan, but it’s so clearly Gladys!

9:30 p.m. – Next to sing is Peacock. Prior to is performance we learn a few new things about the colorful character. Without his mask, everyone recognizes him and they want to chat. By day he performs as his 176-pound real self. They showed a rainbow flag, which is a bit confusing. He’s singing “All of Me” by John Legend. Nicole says his voice has a mature sound, but I’m not loving this is much as his previous performances. It sounds auto-tuned and I’m not a fan of the dance remix. Midway though Jenny finally mentions the name Donny Osmond for the first time. Jenny loves the Peacock and has a feeling she knows who he is. Nicole has no idea, but keeps thinking he’s a magician. Robin suggests Neil Patrick Harris. Ken enjoys his confidence and tells him he’s like a thin David Hasselhoff or David Copperfield. For his revealing item, Peacock shows off a wig that got him “put in jail.” I believe it’s Donny’s wig from the musical “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Once again, Jenny guesses Donny Osmond. Nicole guesses Wayne Brady.

WEEK SIX SPOILERS: Who are the Bee, Monster, Peacock

9:40 p.m. – It’s now time to learn a little more about the Raven. Being in this competition has forced her to go against all her basic instincts, especially the need to be silent after a career of talking to so many people. Being alone with her thoughts has given her a “bird’s-eye view” of her own story. I think she purposely mentions this “view” because Jenny has been guessing it’s Sherri Shepherd. Her greatest joy is being a mother to her flock, but once again the panel mentions Raven Symone. Singing “Brave” by Sarah Bareilles, her voice is so OBVIOUSLY Ricki Lake. She’s got a solid voice, but it’s a professional singer. Jenny throws out the name Sarah Gilbert in desperation. She hits a few power notes at the end that have the judges cheering. Will they guess her identity? Nicole doesn’t think she’s a professional singer, but she hit those notes. Ken tells Jenny to forget about Sherri Shepherd already. But what is Raven’s revealing item? An Emmy Award! Nicole guesses Sheryl Underwood. Robin suggests Ricki Lake. Ken doubts it, suggesting Star Jones and Carnie Wilson.

9:50 p.m. – The last to perform tonight is the Monster. The clues reveal that Monster has had his share of dark days. He’s a “fighter” who discovered the little Teddy bear he is at heart. He keeps making sports references, but there was a brief image of the controls of a music production studio. Singing “American Woman” by Lenny Kravitz, Monster is hoping to throw the judges off. He definitely has a versatile voice and sounds great, which makes Ken yell out, “that ain’t no athlete!” Beyond from sounding amazing, Monster has some serious moves. Robin comments on the athleticism and asks if anyone knows if Sugar Ray Leonard can sing. Robin says adding his own riffs makes him believe Monster is a professional singer and he was the best performance of the night. Ken throws out David Alan Grier and Tommy Davidson. Nicole suggests Lil’ Rel, but Jenny still thinks he’s an athlete. For show and tell, monster reveals headphones saying “I make my best calls on this headset.” Now the panel thinks he’s a sportscaster. Nick says by Monster’s body language and the way he keeps picking on him, he definitely thinks it’s someone he knows.

9:59 p.m. – It’s time for the big vote! Will Bee, Peacock, Raven or Monster be unmasked? With the votes counted, tonight’s Unmasked Singer is…the Raven. Aww, poor Raven. But now it’s time for the reveal. For their final guesses, Ken says Sheryl Underwood. Nicole guesses Meghan McCain. Robin says Ricki Lake and Jenny picks Raven Symone. Who is behind the mask? It’s Ricki Lake! Tune in next week to find out who will be the next singer to be unmasked.
