‘The Masked Singer’ episode 7 recap: Alien, Bee, Lion, Monster, Peacock and Rabbit finally merge in ‘All Together Now’ [UPDATING LIVE BLOG]

After six long weeks of competition, both separate groups of costumed celebrities finally merged together during Wednesday’s seventh episode of “The Masked Singer.” Alien, Bee, Lion, Monster, Peacock and Rabbit all sang live for the studio audience as well as judges Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke and guest panelist J.B. Smoove. As is tradition, at the end of the episode the weakest performer was forced to unmask for America, revealing their true identity. So how did it all play out?

Below, check out our minute-by-minute “The Masked Singer” recap of Season 1, Episode 7, titled “All Together Now,” to find out what happened Wednesday, February 13 at 9/8c. Then be sure to sound off in the comments section about your favorite costumed celebs on Fox’s reality TV show, who impresses you the most, and who you think will ultimately win. Keep refreshing/reloading this live blog for the most recent updates.

9:00 p.m. — “Previously, on ‘The Masked Singer’!” In last week’s sixth episode the Raven was named the weakest singer and unmasked to reveal, to no one’s surprise, talk show host Ricki Lake. “The Raven is about metamorphosis,” Ricki told host Nick Cannon about why she chose to dress up as the black bird. The three strongest singers of that evening (Bee, Monster and Peacock) advanced, as did the three best crooners from the previous week (Alien, Lion and Rabbit). Now that there are only six celebs left in the competition, I can’t wait to see whose feathers get plucked tonight. Let’s go!

9:03 p.m. — The Monster is up first. In the clues portion he reveals that he’s discovered a “vulnerable side” about himself by performing in the competition. He’s from “down south” and he’s even won some awards in his career. Hmm … yeah, I got nothing. Tonight he’s “coming out swinging,” which makes the judges wonder if he might be a boxer. Singing Joan Jett & The Blackhearts‘ “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll,” Monster’s voice is deeper than I remember, but he’s still absolutely killing it. Monster is walking around the stage like a pro as Ken and Nicole remark on his impressive singing voice.

9:06 p.m. — J.B. doesn’t know “what the hell” is going on, but he calls Monster an incredible performer and that he’s “blown away.” Nicole says he keeps impressing her week after week. Robin says Monster is his favorite week after week, but that he has no idea who’s under the mask. Nicole brings up some of the former clues and Jenny suggests Lil Jon. Then J.B. guesses that it could be a boxer, maybe Mike Tyson. Robin names comedian Tommy Davidson again. Nick asks Monster for a “Moment of Truth” and he admits he was not in “In Loving Color” and that his shoe size is 12. Backstage, Monster says the panelists are off by miles and that he’s going to be the last mask standing.

9:12 p.m. — Now it’s time for Lion, who the judges think is a legitimate superstar singer. Her clues video is a black-and-white film noir that features dominoes, sisters, whisky and the phrases “say my name” and “true grit.” Lion comes out roaring by singing Lady Gaga‘s “Diamond Heart.” The judges are, once again, very impressed by Lion’s powerful voice. She’s singing in a cage this week while standing still, a change of pace from prior episodes when she was dancing around the stage. It’s funny that Lion is taking on Lady Gaga tonight since she was one of the judges’ earliest guesses for who might be inside the costume.

9:15 p.m. — Lion “always delivers,” raves Jenny after the performance. J.B. stands up to say that Lion is a golden piece of gaudy jewelry. The other judges are impressed when Nicole brings up Lion’s “soulful, country” voice. Lion starts cracking up when J.B. says that he’s solved many mysteries in his life, including “Who shot Ray Ray?” Robin reminds his panelists about the “Gold Found in Hailey” newspaper clipping, which Nicole takes to suggest Hailee Steinfeld. Lion’s “Moment of Truth” is that she has a subscription to a monthly murder mystery game. Yeah, that doesn’t help.

9:23 p.m. — Alien is up next, who I 100% believe is La Toya Jackson. She knows a thing about the law, she reveals in her clues package, and also hints that she’s fallen off of a stage. The coordinates mentioned in the law video must mean something: 52’2′ N – 57’66’E. All phone calls to her fake law office are $19.56 per minute, Alien hints at the end. Tonight Alien is singing Elle King‘s “Ex’s & Oh’s” and she’s coming off way more confident than in past weeks. Alien struts around the stage and slightly dances, all while never missing a single beat.

9:26 p.m. — J.B. tells Alien, “Take me to your leader,” after her performance. Nicole says she’s stepping up her game week after week. Alien’s “Moment of Truth” is that she has been on the New York Times’ best-seller list twice. Jenny reminds her co-judges about last week’s police badge clue, thinking it could mean she protects her famous family. Robin brings up the “Simple Life” clues. Nicole says that La Toya infamously had a pet snake. J.B. argues it’s definitely NOT Paula Abdul because she’s a pure dancer and so Alien would have “thicker legs.”

9:30 p.m. — Moving right along, it’s time for Bee’s clues package. She’s a veteran star who’s mostly sang contemporary songs so far in the competition. However, tonight she calls herself Queen Bee and admits that she’s going to sing an older song, hinting that she’s bringing “a new attitude.” “What’s Love Got To Do With It” by Tina Turner is her song choice. Bee stands still at the microphone while stinging the audience with her rich vocals. Unlike the other performers tonight, Bee stands alone and is not flanked by annoying backup dancers.

9:33 p.m. — The audience is wildly shouting, “Bee! Bee! Bee!” after her performance. Nicole says she has power and grace, something that’s missing from today’s artists. Robin is still stuck on thinking Bee is Gladys Knight, though he admits to being thrown off by some of this week’s clues. J.B. jumps in that Bee is “sexy” because of her stage presence. He then asks if he can buy a Bee costume to role play with his wife. Jenny guesses Anita Baker, but Robin doesn’t think it sounds like her. Bee’s “Moment of Truth” is a confession that she has 10 Grammy Awards — wowzers!

9:39 p.m. — It’s Rabbit time! He’s probably my favorite in the whole competition, even though some of his cooking clues are throwing me off. The “hanging from strings” clues are obviously hinting at NSYNC, but none of the judges seem to be picking up on that. Rabbit’s performance of Stevie Wonder‘s “Isn’t She Lovely” is by far the most extravagant so far in the entire competition. He’s surrounded by circus freaks and carnival props, which instantly brings up memories of “The Greatest Showman.”

9:43 p.m. — Robin praises Rabbit for mixing up the song and making it his own. Jenny mimics J.B.’s knack for standing up during all of his critiques. J.B. says he’s blown away by Rabbit, adding the only place you could see that crazy performance is at a futuristic strip club. For Rabbit’s “Moment of Truth,” he reveals that he has 17 tattoos on his body. Hmm, somebody quickly count up how many tattoos JC Chasez and Joey Fatone have! Jenny jokes that Rabbit could be her husband Donnie Wahlberg or even Billy Ray Cyrus.

9:47 p.m. — The final performer is Donny Osmond — er, I mean Peacock. He hints that he’s been performing since he was a wee little pea-chick and that he’s hosted awards shows. He brings up magic once again and his past history as an actor, and that he’s even sang in front of British royalty. Peacock’s performance tonight is The Weeknd‘s “I Can’t Feel My Face.” We haven’t seen Peacock take on such a high-octane song like this before and, to be honest, I’m not loving it. It doesn’t feel natural and I’m kind of wishing he’d chosen a more classic song.

9:50 p.m. — Jenny is convinced it’s Neil Patrick Harris, which was my old prediction before I switched to Donny Osmond. She adds that he “rocked it” tonight. Robin says that he always finds a way to make the panel laugh and smile, then sort of critiques him by saying he wasn’t at his most comfortable tonight. J.B. once again says he’s blown away, then jokes that this show is a “cult.” Jenny suggests both Wayne Brady and Donny Osmond. For his “Moment of Truth” Peacock says that his face has been tattooed on a person’s body. After all that, it’s time for the audience to vote.

9:57 p.m. — The votes are in and the celebrity with the lowest number of votes is … Alien! Jenny’s final guess is Sofia Richie. Nicole believes it’s La Toya Jackson. Ken suggests Paula Abdul. J.B. goes with Carmen Electra. And Robin also picks La Toya Jackson. The time has come for Alien to remove the mask. As the audience shouts, “Take it off! Take it off!” the mask comes off and reveals La Toya Jackson! Nicole and Robin both guessed correctly. Did you?
