“The Masked Singer” brings back the six remaining celebrities for the quarter-final on February 13. The title of episode 7, “All Together Now,” says it all as the famous faces hidden behind the masks of the Alien, Bee, Lion, Monster, Peacock and Rabbit perform against each other for the first time. In advance of this, the show has released a teaser video with clues as to the real identities of each of these costumed crooners. Take a look at the video above, and then if you dare, read our spoilers as to the true identities of these six contestants. Spoilers ahead.
The Alien is reality show star La Toya Jackson. On her most recent appearance on episode 5, when she sang the Pharrell Williams hit “Happy,” she flashed a police badge. As she explained to the judges, “This badge is not a prop. I swore to protect and serve.” La Toya starred in the reality TV show “Armed & Famous,” and went through basic training. She still works as a reserve police officer.
The Bee is singer Gladys Knight. In the clues video, we learn that the woman behind the mask has a shelf full of Grammys, just like Gladys. The Bee certainly had the crowd buzzing in episode 6, when she did a socko cover of the Miley Cyrus chart-topper “Wrecking Ball.”
The Lion is actress and activist Rumer Willis. She last appeared in episode 5, and earned roars of approval from the audience for her cover of the 60s classic “California Dreamin’.” All the clues point to this being the middle daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
The Monster is the rapper T-Pain. This one-time chart-topper took a long break from the business after being criticized for his overuse of Auto Tune. On episode 6, the Monster came to life with his rendition of the Lenny Kravitz cover of the rock classic “American Woman.” In that episode’s clues video, we saw the wheels of a skateboard, one of T-Pain’s favorite sports.
The Peacock is the former teen idol Donny Osmond. This showbiz veteran is a versatile performer as evidenced by his week 6 version of the John Legend song “All of Me.” In that week’s clues video whales were referenced, which could be a play on the country Wales. Donny has two connections with this part of the United Kingdom, tracing his ancestry back to there and having headlined a show on BBC Wales.
The Rabbit is one-time NSYNC singer Joey Fatone. We had thought that it could be his bandmate JC Chasez but are more convinced than ever that it is Fatone after his episode 5 version of “Poison” by Bell Biv DeVoe.
