‘The Masked Singer’: Is Donny Osmond the Peacock? [POLL]

The final of “The Masked Singer” on Wednesday (Feb. 27) will reveal the three celebrities disguised as the Bee, Monster and Peacock. While we aren’t absolutely sure who the first two famous faces hidden behind those masks, we are certain that the Peacock is Donny Osmond. Do you agree? Read our rationale and then vote in the poll below. If you think it is someone else be sure to sound off in the comment section with your best guess.

On the semi-final, the Peacock had the audience and judges up on their feet dancing to his cover of  “Let’s Go” by Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo. When he was done, Jenny McCarthy declared she knew that he was really Donny. She ticked off his career highlights: child star, awards show host, magician. But Nicole Scherzinger disagreed and said that all those accomplishments could just as easily be claimed by Neil Patrick Harris.

We do know that the Peacock is a veteran entertainer. Since he first appeared singing soaring anthem “The Greatest Show” from “The Greatest Showman,” he has tackled a variety of musical genres with ease. He scored with the pop hit “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic, the soulful “All of Me” by John Legend and the upbeat “Can’t Feel My Face” by The Weeknd.

Among the clues the Peacock has dropped are these: he first appeared on television when he was only five (that is how old Donny was when joined his older brothers on “The Andy Williams Show”), that he was “a teeny bopper” (the Osmond Brothers were a big boy band) and that he has had “different incarnations in my career” (Donny has hosted a variety show, talk show and game show; starred on Broadway; and headlined in Las Vegas).
