‘The Masked Singer’ Peacock’s ‘All of Me’ performance has Jenny McCarthy squawking, ‘I think Donny Osmond’ [WATCH]

“I think Donny Osmond, the way Donny Osmond performs on stage,” Jenny McCarthy squawked during Peacock’s third performance in Wednesday’s episode of “The Masked Singer.” Fans have long speculated that the legendary song-and-dance man was hiding behind the blue-and-purple feathered mask, but none of the judges — Jenny, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke or Ken Jeong — had ever thought to name him as their guess. Until now. Watch Peacock’s latest “The Masked Singer” performance above of John Legend‘s “All of Me.”

“I love Peacock so much, you have no idea,” Jenny added after his performance. “Every week you just keep bringing it and the performances get better and better. And I have a feeling I know who you are. You move around this stage like you’ve been doing this since you were very young.” As Donny’s sister Marie Osmond confirmed weeks ago, he began performing when he was only five years old, so that fits one of Peacock’s clues.

Nicole readily admitted, “I just want to say, Peacock, I have no idea who you are, but I keep thinking you’re a magician. I love your voice. I think you’re a seasoned singer for a magician.” That’s when Jenny chimed in that it could be someone with Broadway experience, aka Donny.

When it was time to name names, Robin suggested Neil Patrick Harris, saying he’s “a very well-rounded performer who’s done magic shows, who’s done hosting and who’s also a singer and a Broadway performer.” Nicole added that the rainbow flag in the clues package could be a reference to NPH. And Ken brought up both David Hasselhoff and David Copperfield.

In his “The Masked Singer” live blog, our recapper Denton Davidson had this to say about the performance: “Prior to is performance we learn a few new things about the colorful character. Without his mask, everyone recognizes him and they want to chat. By day he performs as his 176-pound real self. They showed a rainbow flag, which is a bit confusing. He’s singing ‘All of Me’ by John Legend. Nicole says his voice has a mature sound, but I’m not loving this is much as his previous performances. It sounds auto-tuned and I’m not a fan of the dance remix.”
