
The Fox scared up enough votes in his first five appearances on “The Masked Singer” to make the semi-final on December 11. We love his fighting spirit and are fairly certain we know who is the famous face hidden behind that furry mask. And his performance on Tuesday’s show reinforced our theory.
The Fox took to the stage on the quarterfinal to sing “Blame It” by Jamie Foxx. Featured on the original track by the Oscar winner was T-Pain. That rapper won season 1 of “The Masked Singer” and was a guest judge on Tuesday’s episode. The Fox was not intimidated by his presence. Indeed, he seemed to shine even brighter. This swagger goes a long way to confirming our best guess as to his real identity.

Who is the Fox: Wayne Brady.
The Fox brags about having worked with both Doogie and Doubtfire, which are references to title characters. The first is a shout-out to the TV series “Doogie Howser, M.D.” which starred Neil Patrick Harris; He went on to play the womanizing Barney on ” How I Met Your Mother.” Brady guest-starred as his laid-back brother. The second suggests the movie “Mrs. Doubtfire,” which was a huge hit for Robin Williams. This multi-talent appeared on the impro show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” alongside Brady.
That series was a showcase for the quick-wit that the Fox brags about having. Other references to the show include a photo of three stools and the words “Yes, and” written on a chalkboard.
Brady also displays his sassy side as the host of the game show “Let’s Make a Deal.” That CBS series has won Brady two of his five Emmys. Collectively, “The Masked Singer” contestants have won 19 Emmys.
The Fox says he see himself as a “super-hero.” Among his many jobs, Brady does the voice of the character Micron in the animated TV series “Batman Beyond.”
As a group, the celebrities on “The Masked Singer” have appeared on Broadway 22 times. Brady did star turns in the musicals “Chicago” and “Kinky Boots.”
