The Top 11 artists on “The Voice” performed live on Monday’s show. Each hoped that their song would get the most streams on Apple Music in the hour after the episode went off the air across the country. That was the deadline to qualify for the five-times vote multiplier that could help keep them in the competition when Carson Daly revealed the results on Tuesday’s show.
As with last week, none of the artists coached by Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani made the Top 10 on iTunes; that had been a requirement to get the multiplier until this season. The best of the bunch by far among the Top 11 is Katie Kadan from Team John Legend. She got to #15 with her version of “Without You.” (See the full list of songs and where the Top 11 ranked below.)
Kadan is the one to watch this season. She also placed a strong second on the charts last week with “I’m Going Down,” which still ranks as #100. Last week’s leader was Kadan’s teammate Marybeth Byrd, who came in at #18 for her rendition of “Go Rest High On That Mountain.” This week she is way down at #132 for her cover of “Stars.”
But at least Byrd made the Top 200. Three of the other artists — Hello Sunday, Joana Martinez and Shane Q — did not even manage that. Of these, Joana and Shane also failed to make the Top 200 chart last week and are the likeliest to end up in fighting for the Instant Save.
