‘The Voice’ winner predictions: Gyth Rigdon gains on Maelyn Jarmon, but what about Dexter Roberts?

Gyth Rigdon is coming on strong to win “The Voice” on Tuesday, according to our updated poll of viewers. He has narrowed the gap with the frontrunner, Maelyn Jarmon. While she is still ahead by 19 points (53 – 34), that is down from last week.

In the days since the Top 4 were revealed on last Tuesday’s results show, Maelyn, who is the lone artist on Team John Legend, has racked up the most votes from viewers. Indeed, she has more support from fans than Gyth and the other two Blake Shelton boys (Dexter Roberts and Andrew Sevener) combined.

Who do you want to win season 16 of “The Voice” on May 21? Are you rooting for Maelyn, who would be the first winner for the rookie coach John. Or do you want Gyth to bring Blake his seventh victory? Perhaps you prefer Dexter, who has 10% of the vote as of this writing. The fourth artist, Andrew, merits a mere 3%. That isn’t surprising as he only made it to the final after he won the Instant Save on the Top 8 results show.

Andrew was the wrong singer to rescue according to viewers, with 54% preferring Shawn Sounds or Rod Stokes. Maelyn and Gyth have split the support for those two artists eliminated at the Top 8 stage of the competition as well as the other two contenders — Kim Cherry and Carter Lloyd Horne  — who were sent home.
