Bachelor Nation, get ready for an all-new season of “The Bachelorette” on Monday, May 13 with Hannah Brown calling the shots. ABC’s annual love-searching reality show returns with this quirky 24-year-old Miss Alabama USA, who was originally introduced in last season’s version of “The Bachelor” with Colton Underwood. Colton sent home Hannah during the seventh week of his fence-jumping season, then ultimately picked Cassie Randolph as his leading lady. Will Hannah now find her one true love on Season 15 of “The Bachelorette”?
“Bachelor” host Chris Harrison made the big announcement during the March 12 season finale. “Glad to be here — roll tide!” Hannah shouted to the live audience. “I feel all the emotions, but honestly I’m just really grateful for this opportunity. It didn’t happen for me on my first time around, but I do believe that it can happen.”
Hannah’s season began right then and there, with five suitors stepping out on stage to present her with roses and their best pitches. Luke said that she was the only one he wanted to be “The Bachelorette.” Dustin toasted Hannah with champagne. Cam serenaded Hannah with his original “hot mess express” rap. Connor wanted to see her on “the same level,” so he gave her a stepping stool. And Luke S. stated that he was willing to “go down south” for her.
“This is one of the hardest decisions that I’ve made this season,” she joked after she was told that she had to give one of them a rose. “To those of you who do not get this rose, I can’t wait to see you all back at the mansion and, you know, try harder. In all seriousness, you are all so great and it makes me really excited for seeing you all again and just the journey that we all have together.” Hannah then gave her rose to Cam.
One week before Hannah’s highly anticipated season premiere, ABC will air a reunion special that’s cheekily titled “The Biggest Bachelorette Reunion in Bachelor History Ever!” on Monday, May 6. Expect the drama to fly in this unique who’s-who of the popular reality TV franchise.
