Who is the next ‘The Bachelor’? Hey ABC, we suggest Mike Johnson! [POLL]

Who is the next “The Bachelor”? Per tradition, the mystery suitor behind the next season won’t be announced until later on, but we have a suggestion for ABC: Mike Johnson! This 31-year-old portfolio manager from San Antonio, Texas may have been eliminated during Week 7 of Hannah Brown‘s current season of “The Bachelorette,” but he left such a lasting impression on “Bachelor Nation” that fans are just itching to see him again one day. Might he become the first-ever black “Bachelor” in Season 24? Vote in our poll below.

As you’ll recall, Hannah had a tough time saying goodbye to Mike during their trip to the Netherlands. They enjoyed a fun one-on-one date exploring the town, which included a modeling session for a local painter, but when Mike arrived at dinner Hannah had tears in her eyes. “You’ve talked about your three ladies in your life,” she began while openly crying. “They’re so amazing and you’re looking for your fourth lady … and I know that I’m not that fourth lady.”

After a long exhale, Mike finally responded, “Hannah, that’s hard to say, but it’s what needed to say if how you feel.” The distraught Texan continued on, “I can’t say that I’m happy. I don’t know what to say, except thank you for being honest.” With that, the ex-couple hugged and then Hannah walked Mike to the elevator and watched as he descended out of her life forever.

“This is by far the hardest goodbye I’ve had to say,” the former Miss Alabama USA later explained. “Mike deserves to be loved fiercely just as much as I do,” Hannah added, and since she couldn’t give that to him she put an end to their journey. Watch the emotional “Bachelorette” video.

As of this writing only three guys are in the running to be named the winner of “The Bachelorette” Season 15: Tyler Cameron, Peter Weber and Jed Wyatt. Just last week Hannah said goodbye to Luke Parker, but the preview trailer hints that this reality TV villain will be crashing the party to try to win back Hannah’s heart one last time. Talk about drama!
