Week after week, Gold Derby’s exclusive racetrack odds continue to pick Brooke Lynn Hytes as the contestant most likely to win Season 11 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” But let’s forget who WILL win for a moment and instead talk about who SHOULD win. Of the remaining six queens still in the competition, which one do you think most deserves a spot in the coveted “Drag Race” hall of fame: Brooke Lynne, Yvie Oddly, A’Keria C. Davenport, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, Nina West or Vanessa “Miss Vanjie” Mateo? Vote in our poll below.
On the eve of the May 9 episode, titled “Bring Back My Queens,” there’s a four-way tie in terms of challenge victories, as Brooke Lynn, A’Keria, Nina and Silky have all won two apiece. Yvie has claimed one victory, while Miss Vanjie has yet to win a main challenge. Below, get a closer look at all of the queens’ challenge resumes before voting in our poll.
Brooke Lynn Hytes
This Canadian queen won the first main challenge of Season 11, which required the contestants to design signature looks from leftover materials belonging to “Drag Race” legends. She also prevailed in the Halloween-themed week that tasked the queens with creating three looks: Trampy Trick or Treater, Witch Please and MILF Eleganza. Brooke Lynne has received high marks in eight of the 10 weeks.
A’Keria C. Davenport
Her first challenge victory was during the “Draglympics” when she excelled at the floor program which included three different stages: Fanography, Voguing and Shablam. A’Keria later won the “L.A.D.P.” challenge that tested her improv comedy skills while working with celebs Fortune Feimster and Cheyenne Jackson. A’Keria has received high marks in three of the 10 weeks.
Silky Nutmeg Ganache
A stand-out since the first episode, Silky has two wins under her belt, and both happened to occur during challenges when she had to impersonate a celebrity. First she excelled in the “Trump: The Rusical” musical as Oprah Winfrey and later she won the “Snatch Game At Sea” game show as Ts Madison. Silky has received high marks in five of the 10 weeks.
After nearly being eliminated in the premiere, Nina has rebounded to become one of the biggest threats to win. Her first challenge victory was in the “Diva Worship” episode that tasked Nina’s team with producing a she-vangelical talk show worshiping Britney Spears. Her second win came just last week for the “Dragracadabra” magic show. Nina has received high marks in three of the 10 weeks.
The only time Yvie secured a main challenge victory was in the second episode of season, though she notably tied with Scarlet Envy. That week the queens had to perform in drag film adaptations of “Black Panther” and “Get Out,” with Yvie and Scarlet winning because of their ace chemistry in the “Get Out” spoof. Yvie has received high marks in six of the 10 weeks.
Vanessa “Miss Vanjie” Mateo
After her Season 10 elimination went viral, Miss Vanjie was welcomed back to compete again in Season 11. Unfortunately, things haven’t worked out very well for her since she’s the only queen in the Top 6 to not yet win a main challenge. Miss Vanjie has received high marks in two of the 10 weeks.
