“Runway” lost host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn in its move back to Bravo this past spring after spending several years on Lifetime, but it gained new host Karlie Kloss and mentor Christian Siriano, the latter of whom was a “Runway” winner himself (he prevailed in season four). They’re back this season, and so are judges Nina Garcia (editor-in-chief for Elle Magazine), Elaine Welteroth (former editor-in-chief for Teen Vogue) and Brandon Maxwell (fashion designer to the stars).

The season kicks off on Thursday with a surprise challenge for the designers as soon as they land at JFK Airport: they’ll have to pair up to create looks at the new TWA Hotel, and subsequent challenges will bring the show to noteworthy New York locations like the Vessel in Hudson Yards and Bergdorf Goodman. And as always the show will welcome a rotating panel of all-star guest judges including Leslie Jones, Cyndi Lauper, Rachel Brosnahan and Laverne Cox, among many others.

And this season introduces the “Siriano Save,” which gives the show’s mentor the opportunity to save a designer from elimination if he disagrees with the judges’ verdict. Previous mentor Gunn got to save the day during his tenure, but Siriano didn’t get that veto power last season. Will he use that power wisely (or at all)? Watch a preview of this season below, and join the Gold Derby users who are already making their predictions here.

Be sure to make your predictions so that the contestants can see how they’re faring in our racetrack odds. You can keep changing your predictions until just before the next episode airs every Thursday on Bravo. You’ll compete to win a spot on our leaderboard and eternal bragging rights.
