Congratulations to our Experts Eric Deggans (NPR), Shawn Edwards (WDAF) and Tariq Khan (Fox TV) for scoring 71.43% (15 of 21 categories) when predicting the 2022 Critics Choice film winners on Sunday. Almost 3,500 people worldwide predicted these movie champs for 21 categories at the Los Angeles ceremony hosted by Taye Diggs and Nicole Byer. Winners included “The Power of the Dog” for Best Picture and Best Director, plus actors Will Smith (“King Richard”), Jessica Chastain (“The Eyes of Tammy Faye”), Troy Kotsur (“CODA”) and Ariana DeBose (“West Wide Story”).

Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.
For the other 15 Experts predicting, the next best score is 66.67% for Clayton Davis (Variety), Joyce Eng (Gold Derby), Nikki Novak (Fandango), Sasha Stone (Awards Daily) and Peter Travers (ABC). Christopher Rosen (Gold Derby), Keith Simanton (IMDb) and Anne Thompson (Indiewire) are then tied at 61.90%. Following them is Wilson Morales (BlackFilmandTV) at 57.14% and then a tie at 47.62% for Susan King (Gold Derby), Kevin Polowy (Yahoo) and Susan Wloszczyna (Gold Derby). The final spots are held by Erik Davis (Fandango) and Grae Drake (Movietone) at 42.86% and then Thelma Adams (Gold Derby) at 33.33%.
