Congratulations to our User 10_yelc for a perfect score when predicting the 2022 Visual Effects Society Awards winners on Tuesday. He is just ahead of 14 people at 80% and has a good point score of 2,371 by using the two Super Bets (500 points each) wisely.
Almost 900 people worldwide predicted these VES champs for five categories at the Los Angeles ceremony. Movie winners included “Dune,” “Last Night in Soho” and “Encanto.” TV winners included “Foundation” and “See.”

For our 11 Gold Derby Editors predicting, Rob Licuria is in first place with 80% correct. Riley Chow is in second place at 60%. We then have an eight-way tie at 40% for Charles Bright, Marcus Dixon, Joyce Eng, Daniel Montgomery, Matt Noble, Christopher Rosen, Paul Sheehan and myself. Denton Davidson is next at 20%.
