They will participate in two video discussions to premiere on Thursday, January 12, at 4:00 p.m. PT; 7:00 p.m. ET. All Quiet on the Western Front (Netflix)

Synopsis: A young German soldier’s terrifying experiences and distress on the western front during World War I.

Bio: Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) was an Oscar nominee for “Lion.” Other projects have included “The Current War,” “Exodus,” “Patrick Melrose,” “Ammonite” and “Your Honor.”

Avatar: The Way of Water (Disney / 20th Century)

Synopsis: Jake Sully lives with his newfound family formed on the extrasolar moon Pandora. Once a familiar threat returns to finish what was previously started, Jake must work with Neytiri and the army of the Na’vi race to protect their home.

Bio: Simon Franglen’s career has included “The Magnificent Seven,” “Ice,” “Peppermint” and “The Curse of Turandot.”

Glass Onion (Netflix)

Synopsis: Famed Southern detective Benoit Blanc from “Knives Out” travels to Greece for his latest case.

Bio: Nathan Johnson’s career has included “Looper,” “Kill the Messenger,” “Knives Out,” “Mr. Corman” and “Nightmare Alley.”
