Bio
Jacob Sarkisian is a freelance journalist who has contributed to Gold Derby since 2016. He made Emma Stone and Damien Chazelle pause for thought when he interviewed them at the BAFTAS. He will never forgive the Academy for not awarding "Inglourious Basterds" Best Original Screenplay. Nor can he believe that Andy Serkis didn't win Best Supporting Actor for "Two Towers." Jacob thoroughly believes that superhero movies and lighter fare like "Love, Simon" deserve much more awards glory. Jacob dreams of one day becoming a screenwriter himself. Here's hoping.
