Emma Corrin (‘The Crown’): Emmys 2021 episode submission revealed

Gold Derby can exclusively reveal that Emma Corrin is entering “The Crown” episode “Fairytale” as her 2021 Emmy Awards submission for Best Drama Actress. This program streamed November 15 and was the third episode of the fourth season for the Netflix show.

In this installment, Diana Spencer (Corrin) accepts the marriage proposal from Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor). The media frenzy starts when she moves into the palace, leading to the first stages of an eating disorder. She discovers how little she knows about Charles when meeting with his former girlfriend Camilla (Emerald Fennell).

This year marks her first career Emmy nomination. For this 2021 contest, she is competing against co-star Olivia Colman, Uzo Aduba (“In Treatment”), Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Mj Rodriguez (“Pose”) and Jurnee Smollett (“Lovecraft Country”).
