Josh O’Connor (‘The Crown’): Emmys 2021 episode submission revealed

Gold Derby can exclusively reveal that Josh O’Connor is entering “The Crown” episode “Terra Nullius” as his 2021 Emmy Awards submission for Best Drama Actor. This program streamed November 15 and was the sixth episode of the fourth season for the Netflix show.

In this installment, Princess Diana (Emma Corrin) complains to her husband Prince Charles (O’Connor) about his continued infatuation with Camilla (Emerald Fennell). Their relationship improves during a visit to Australia. Upon returning to England, they are arguing again and go to separate homes.

This year marks the first career Emmy nomination for O’Connor. For this 2021 contest, he is competing against Sterling K. Brown (“This Is Us”), Jonathan Majors (“Lovecraft Country”), Rege-Jean Page (“Bridgerton”), Billy Porter (“Pose”) and Matthew Rhys (“Perry Mason”).
