The Writers Guild of America announced today its nominees for the 2018 WGA Awards for television, including daytime drama. The nominees are:

Days of our Lives
General Hospital

Congratulations to both shows! Last year, GH was the only nominated daytime drama, so it’s nice to see the WGA saw fit to nominate two shows this year and leave a little suspense for awards night.

It’s ridiculous that GH is nominated; it should be Days and Y&R. Days is a million times better written than GH. (so of course they will choose GH, right? yuck!)

It all depends on what was submitted. And they did have some strong episodes at the end of the year after Chris van Etten’s work started to air.
