    Best Actress: Maura West

Seconding all of FreemanGriffin’s citations, but especially Ms. West. She just made herself a strong contender for back to back Emmys in 2019/2020. Incredible, chilling work.

    Yet again…

    March 13th, 2019

    Best Actress: Maura West

During a conversation with Franco, Ava Jerome grapples with the fact that her fiancé was not the man she thought he was.

She continually tops herself ! I don’t know how she does it. I loved the blend of humor and drama in this episode, it was fantastic.

    March 19th and 21st
    Lead Actress: Maura West
19th- A drunken Ava Jerome visits Carly to see her daughter.
21st- Ava, once again drunk, meets Laura on the pier and thanks her for her kindness through everything.

I’m already hoping for back-to-back Emmys for MW in 2019/2020. I know many people prefer having fresh blood win (it’s more exciting sometimes) but I truly believe MW deserves two more statues.

Best Supporting Actress (or Guest Performer?): Marla Adams (Dina, Y&R)

Dina is back, along with Traci! They talk with Jack and others about missing Ashley. Dina’s illness is apparent, but she is upbeat while also being confused. I prefer this story to the one over on GH. My only disappointment is that Ashley needs to be part of the story too. Now that Mal Young is almost gone I am hoping Dina will be back on the show more often as I adore her!

Best Actress: Amelia Heinle (Victoria, Y&R)
Best Supporting Actor – or Guest Performer?: Thad Luckinbill (J.T., Y&R)

Victoria visits J.T. in the hospital and they discuss his brain tumor, with mutual apologies but still a level of distrust betweeen them. Really well played scenes….

    General Hospital

Best Younger Actor: William Lipton (Cameron)
Best Younger Actor: Garen Stitt (Oliver)
Best Younger Actress: Eden McCoy (Josslyn)
Best Supporting Actor: Billy Miller (Drew)
Best Supporting Actress: Tamara Braun (Kim)
Best Guest Performer: Leslie Charleson (Monica)
    Beset Writing

These six performers all did stellar work in an episode concerning Oliver’s impending death. Monica suggests that Kim and Olivier move into the Q mansion for his last few weeks or month to live; Oliver and Joss let Cam know what is going on – the writing has been terrific. I don’t want Oliver to leave the show! It’s are to get young people interacting on soaps in such an authentic and interesting way. Kudos to GH!

Freeman, I think you mean Oscar instead of Oliver but agree with the citation . I’d also hate for the character to go

Best Supporting Actress: Emme Rylan (Lulu, GH)
Best Guest Performer: Dominic Zamprogna (Dante, GH)
    Best Writing

Dante leaves Lulu once again, and she is devastated yet again. They say ‘goodbye”.

The whole entire episode was extremely well written.

Best Guest Performer: eileen Davidson (Ashley, Y&R)

Best Guest Performer: Hillary B Smith (Nora, GH)

Ashely returns to Genoa City revealing that she has all of the patents fro Jacob products! She gets Phyllis fired from the CEO position and then gives 24 hours for them to accept their offer or not. They then give Jack back the CEO position. Great to see Ashley again, and hope this visit is longer (I think it be due to Neil’s death storyline coming right up).

Nora is Kevin’s lawyer and she is wonderful as always, convinces him to plead not guilty and is very funny with Lucy! Here’s hoping for many more episodes featuring Nora!

    A few retro citations:

    Tuesday, March 26, 2019
    General Hospital
    Outstanding Lead Actress
    Finola Hughes — Anna Devane
    Outstanding Supporting Actress
    Lisa LoCicero — Olivia Falconeri

In the wake of Griffin’s leaving town, Anna makes another effort to forge a relationship with her son, Peter, and asks him to forgive her for giving him up as a baby. At Dante’s welcome home party, Olivia tells her son that, because he’s a hero, she’ll always have to worry about him but she’s so very proud of him.

Both of these performances had strong moments, and it was an interesting contrast having the two totally different mother/son match-ups in the same episode. Lisa LoCicero deserves an award just for making people believe she could be Dominic Zamprogna’s mother, but I was especially moved by Olivia’s words to Dante as she was leaving the party.

    Days of our Lives
    Outstanding Younger Actress
Olivia Rose Keegan — Claire Brady

Claire loses it as Tripp leaves her to check on Haley. Eve tries to comfort Claire and get her to believe she’s a decent person who can be happy.

Generally I think Olivia Rose Keegan’s been good at playing Claire as desperate and pathetic, and this gave her a good opportunity to add a little more emotion to that. Any sympathy for her is undermined by the flashback scenes of her setting the cabin on fire and almost killing Ciara, but the actress does a nice job.

Honorable mentions to the entire cast of GH

Joss and Oscar at the bridge, dancing to their song, he collapses. She calls for an ambulance. at the hospital she is anxious believing thet Oscar will die soon.
