I always thought it was funny that daytime Emmys had nominations for digital shows since they technically don’t broadcast in the daytime lol

that’s me overthinking lol

I am super excited about Mike Manning’s nomination – I was really disappointed he wasn’t nominated for playing Charlie Dale on Days. I think Tristan Rogers will likely win again for Studio City but I will root for Mike to win!

Lots of GH and B&B and a few Days performers among the nominees. Sean Kanan cast mostly people he worked with on the first two shows.

Does anybody know how many Emmys Kristos Andrews has won for The Bay? He seems to win quite a few times for his role.

Carolyn Hennesy mentioned that her role on Studio City is based on both Gloria Monty and Jill Farren Phelps. If she wins it will be 2nd Emmy since she won a few years ago for The Bay.

Jacklyn Zeman has 4 nominations for playing Bobbie on GH, it’s nice to see her on this list of nominees.

Ronn Moss plays an exaggerated version of himself in his guest role on Studio City. He is quite funny spoofing himself!

Sarah Joy Brown’s father was dying during the filming of the show and it added extra poignancy to her scenes with Tristan Rogers, who plays her father.

I loved Eric Nelsen on the All My Children reboot in 2013 – I would love for him to show up on one of the 4 broadcast daytime dramas!

The Bay has a nomination for Best Writing and Studio City is not nominated in that category.

The Bay has 10 acting nominations and Studio City has 6 acting nominations. Studio City has already won for Best Daytime Fiction Drama Series last Friday night.
