Days of our Lives
Outstanding Lead Actress
Marci Miller — Abigail DeverauxAbigail confronts Gwen about lying to Chad about seeing Abigail kissing Jake and overhearing her reserving a room at the Salem Inn. Ultimately Gwen tries and fail to talk her way out of it, and a furious Abigail fires her and throws her out of the house.
Very well acted scenes from Marci Miller, who has really upped the level of soapy drama energy she’s bringing since her previous stint. Emily O’Brien and Billy Flynn are great in the scenes as well.

The Bold and the Beautiful
Outstanding Lead Actor: Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer)
Outstanding Writing in a Drama SeriesLiam confesses his night of infidelity to Hope.
Another formidable script by Tracey Ann Kelly that expertly blends sentimentality and suspense (will Liam finally succeed at following through with his confession?) strengthened by a magnificent performance by Scott Clifton, who manages to articulate Liam’s inner conflict with just the right balance of pathos and poignancy.

The Bold and the Beautiful
Outstanding Lead Actor: Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer)
Outstanding Lead Actress: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester)
Outstanding Supporting Actress: Annika Noelle (Hope Logan Spencer)
Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series
Outstanding Music Direction/Composition for a Drama SeriesLiam pleads with Hope to find it in her heart to forgive him. Steffy comes clean to Finn about that fateful night she and Liam spent together.
A tour-de-force performance by Clifton, highlighted by his grand delivery of that divinely-written monologue by Michele Val Jean (to go along with my favorite musical piece!) that caps off the episode. The two ladies are also wonderful throughout, with Noelle in the way she carefully navigates Hope’s feelings of shock and dismay, and JMW in her masterful display of an emotionally-conflicted Steffy.

The Young and the Restless
Outstanding Lead Actress: Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman Chancellor)
Outstanding Supporting Actress: Beth Maitland (Traci Abbott)
Outstanding Writing in a Drama SeriesAbby is devastated that she can’t carry a child and searches her soul in an effort to come to terms with her diagnosis. Traci reminisces about Colleen and all that could have been had her daughter still been alive.
Just magnificent work by both Ordway and Maitland, aided by a profoundly moving script by Michael Conforti and Janice Ferri Esser.
