I thought Beyond Salem was nominated for Writing and Directing while B&B was not.

I wonder when and if the fans will know what the actors submitted for their reels. Also, I’m curious what each soap submitted for drama, writing and directing.

I simply do not get Mishael Morgan’s Best Actress nomination at all. And I really don’t like Bryton James’s “acting”, it puts me to sleep! Y&R is poorly written in my opinion. Oh well, it is what it is.

We will get different winners than last year in every single acting category!

It is Cynthia Watros’s first nomination in 24 years! She won for playing crazy Annie Dutton way back in 1998 (for 1997).

There are only a few first time nominees except for all five of the Guest Performer nominees: Melissa Ordway, Kelly Thiebaud, Aaron D Spears, Nicholas Alexander Chavez – only nine new first-time nominees.

Beyond Salem was nominated for Series, Directing, and Writing but no acting nominations.

Nice to see NLG in Supporting Actress – she was lead early in the year but supporting for most of the year.

I wonder if Melissa Ordway submitted that great scene with Sean Carrigan’s Stitch, when he admitted he was Mariah’s kidnapper?
