A striking performance in which Heather proves once again why she’s in a class all her own.

Outstanding Supporting Actress: Krista Allen (Dr. Taylor Hayes), B&B
Outstanding Writing in a Drama SeriesKatie is left stunned as Taylor recounts the events of that fateful night several years ago during which she shot Bill.
Revisiting Bill’s shooting as an integral part to the Bill/Sheila storyline was sheer brilliance on the part of the writing team, and shout out to Michele Val Jean who did an excellent job with the dialogue (particularly Taylor’s confession) in this script. Krista plays the emotional beats of Taylor’s psychological scars extremely well, with wonderful work from Heather Tom and JMW here too.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 17, 2023 at 12:08 pm #1205306907I am citing Brook Kerr (Portia) and Tabyana Ali (Trina) for their excellent performances this past week as Trina learns that Curtis might be her bio-dad on GH – a full range of emotions this week from both of them.
Also: Best Directing and Best Writing for GH – truly great pacing in each episode and the writing has been spot on all week!
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 20, 2023 at 11:54 am #1205311125I am citing Nicholas Chavez for a beautiful understated performance today as he supports Trina in her time of need… Also: the directors, writers and producers of GH for a superb episode!

Days of our Lives
Outstanding Supporting Actress
Lindsay Arnold – Allie Horton
Raven Bowens – Chanel DupreeAllie tells Chanel that she’s moving to New Zealand, and the two talk about how much they mean to one another and say their goodbyes.
These scenes, along with the breakup scenes from the previous week, could make a good submission for both of these women, who do a wonderful job playing the sadness of these characters having to say goodbye to one another as well as the genuine joy in thinking back on their best times together. It makes me really sad that Allie is leaving.
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 21, 2023 at 11:59 am #1205312400I am citing the amazing Maura West (Ava, GH) for Best Actress for her phenomenal work as she confronts Ryan! Just superb performance filled with fire and passion! (:
ReplyCopy URLFebruary 22, 2023 at 12:18 pm #1205313959I am citing Jon Lindstrom for his work the past several days and in particular for today’s episode with Ryan being killed and Kevin coming to terms with the fact that his brother is really dead.

Outstanding Lead Actor: Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), B&B
Liam attempts to reason with Bill about his loyalty to Sheila. Later, Liam tries to get through to Hope that welcoming back Thomas as Lead Designer to the “Hope For The Future” line would be a terrible mistake.
This week was a wonderful acting showcase for Clifton who’s always ready for the challenge and shines when given meaty material such as this, all while making it look effortless.
ReplyCopy URLMarch 28, 2023 at 12:04 pm #1205367229I am citing Charles Shaugnessy (Victor, General Hospital): he does such a great job of playing a manacling villain but not going over the top the way that Shiloh and Peter August did. He is frightening yet also not a cartoon villain. It was truly frightening when he pushed Eileen over the precipice.
ReplyCopy URLMarch 29, 2023 at 12:03 pm #1205368263I am citing Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth, GH) for her beautiful performance in the tribute to Sonya Eddy episode of GH. It was heartrending, particularly her reactions to Epiphany’s letter of recommendation to the hospital board.
I also am citing the directors and writers of this particular episode, which was truly beautiful and memorable!

In a last-ditch effort in what she hopes will ultimately uproot Diane from her family, Phyllis sets in motion the covert plan she and Jeremy Stark have together devised, and stages one final public showdown with Diane.
