Supposedly, AMC has already decided their pre-nominations for next year.

 

According to Chrishell Strause they are as follows:

 

Lead: Vincent Irizarry, Darnell Williams; Debbi Morgan, Susan Lucci

 

Supporting: Melissa Claire Egan, Chrishelll Strause, & Cady McClain; Jacob Young, Michael E. Knight

 

No indication of younger actor/actress nominees

Morgan has the tape to compete with Slezak’s bait fest from early this year.  I’d love it Debbi finally won a lead actress Emmy.

Having not followed the show that much in its final year, I think these are about right. Though stunned that Lindsay Hartley didn’t get a noticed. From what I saw, she was always a standout. Hopefully it will be Morgan’s year.

Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan for the WIN!  Hopefully both of them will choose the right tapes.  I want to see both of them up on the stage taking the Emmy.

Susan had good material over the summer. She played a double (Jane) and had great comedic material to play when she went to Oak Haven. And I do think she can get nominated and will. This is her last chance. Plus, if Bobbie Eakes, Alicia Minshew, and many others can get nominated for nothing tapes than so can Lucci.
