The Creative Arts Ceremony is tonight for Daytime Emmys! All technical categories presented, and….
Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series will be handed out tonight! Kinda upset at this decision. It gave them the chance to have people like Sally Kellerman, Fred Willard, Ray Wise, etc. in attendace but, whatever.
Usually, we have an idea of sorts at how the main ceremony will go once we see the winners at Creative Arts. Last year, Y&R took a lot, while OLTL and AMC reduxes took a few, with GH only taking one. And then the main ceremony followed a similar plotline. So, we should a little less-foggy outlook on Sunday after tonight. Hopefully.April 24, 2015 at 10:20 pm #429027

Three-way tie in Guest Performer: Donna Mills, Fred Willard and Ray Wise.April 24, 2015 at 10:58 pm #429032
A three way tie and they can’t give Meredith Baxter anything.April 24, 2015 at 11:00 pm #429033
From what I saw Fred Willard had very little to doApril 24, 2015 at 11:06 pm #429034
I’m most upset that Fred Willard won. His reel was so basic. I’m not familiar with his story line. But if he had more dramatic scenes, wouldn’t those have been submitted? I don’t get it. He won b/c of his name and that’s it!!!
I get Ray Wise and, especially, Donna Mills. But, man, a THREE WAY tie and nothing for Tovar??April 24, 2015 at 11:06 pm #429035
Did Laverne Cox herself just win an Emmy for The T Word?April 24, 2015 at 11:10 pm #429036
Laverne Cox did indeed win. She’s an executive producer of “The T Word.”April 24, 2015 at 11:22 pm #429037

Such a glorious night for trans women.April 24, 2015 at 11:25 pm #429038
B&B has done well tonight. I doubt it wins Best Drama Series, but I’m almost convinced that it will spill over into the acting category – Best Supporting Actor. I think Jacob Young could win it. Also, Directing and Writing are wide open.April 24, 2015 at 11:29 pm #429039
I’m also not that familiar with Willards role but I saw all the submissions and he had very little to do. I thought Baxter had the best submission. I didn’t care for Donna Mills but I know I might be in the minority when it comes to her. With Ray Wise it looks like a divisive role and performance but obviously it appealed to enough voters.
