Luke left GH in 2015, so GH couldn’t have won for that episode in 2017 (I know you mean for 2016, since Days won for 2017 in 2018).

It is amazing to me that Y&R won for those two outstanding episodes from 2018 but Amelia Heinle wasn’t nominated for Best Actress!!!!

Margo pulling the plug on Casey – how did Ellen Dolan not get an Emmy nomination for those scenes???

Francesca James was on The Locher Room and she said that they had submitted a plane crash for their (2nd) 1997 Emmy win (the first year that they went with a calendar year, so it was only for the last 8 months of 1997).

I count on 19 for ABC. Also I think the win GH had in 1997 was around the death of Steve Hardy which is also the episode Laura tells Luke about the existence of Nikolas and how he saved Lulu.

19 wins for ABC and 23 for CBS.

I think 1992’s AMC win concerned a racist attack on Dondre Whitfield’s character?

No CBS has 22. 11 for Y&R, 4 for ATWT, 3 for GL and B&B and one for Edge of Night when it was on CBS.

I had the years switched for the GH wins my bad and Maria’s plane crash was heartbreaking

I always thought GH’s 97 win had something to do with Nikolas’ existence but I wasn’t sure.

Two of the Guiding Light Drama Series wins revolved around the Roger Thorpe character and Michael Zaslow didn’t get nominated for those years interesting

If he had been nominated in 1980 I 1981 I wonder if Douglass Watson would have won

idk what Watson won for in 1980 but he won in 1981 for the riveting scenes during Rachel’s trial when he found out that Mitch not he is Rachel’s baby’s daddy.
